For East of England content production businesses the biggest low carbon initiative to come out of the UK this year for Film, Documentary, TV and Computer Games

Thursday 2nd September 2010 in Norwich.

Please note that tea and coffee will be provided but that lunch will not. The offices are in the centre of the city with an abundance of cafes and sandwich shops nearby. There is no free parking but several public car parks within a 5 minute walk of the offices.

Please see below for further information about the Low Carbon FundLow Carbon FundThe Low Carbon Fund will provide low carbon, digital production investment across Film, Documentary, TV and Computer Games to commercially viable projects in the East of England:
- Through a £3.5m investment fund
Officially closing at 31/12/2015 we anticipate having expended the fund by December 2013
The fund will invest in a minimum of 15 productions
Productions must be shot/produced wholly or partially in the East of England
Applicants must be based in the East of England
Low Carbon Development FundThe Low Carbon Development Fund will provide East of England businesses with funding to develop and exploit low carbon focused digital content across Film, Documentary, TV and Computer Games:
- Through a £250,000 development fund
Officially closing at 31/12/2015 we anticipate having expended the fund by December 2013
The scheme will support the development of a minimum of 30 projects (small and medium-sized businesses)
The scheme will fund digital content development i.e. treatments, scripts, pilots, marketing, marketing research and distribution
Low Carbon Business Support ProgrammeThe Low Carbon Business Support Programme will provide finance, and advice and guidance for critical project planning and commercial exploitation for small and medium-sized digital content businesses in the East of England:
- Through a £250,000 investment development fund
Officially closing at 31/12/2015 we anticipate having expended the fund by December 2013
Provision of workshops and funding supporting the development, adoption and implementation of low carbon and other resource saving production techniques
Advice and guidance from expert Low carbon consultants
Provision of workshops and funding supporting budgeting, scheduling, tax planning and location finding activities
The scheme will support a minimum of 75 small and medium-sized businesses
