In the context of current changes in funding for Regional Screen Agencies it is no longer possible for Screen East to run an annual fund to assist moving image festivals in the East of England.

As a consequence applications will continue to be evaluated against the criteria for Festivals and can be made to RIFE at any time. However only applications received for Festivals taking place at least 3 months before the published decision date will be considered for assessment. Awards can only be made for public events meeting the Festival Fund criteria and that return a completed Targets and Outputs sheet downloadable from the Screen East website with the application form.


• Festival applications can be received at any of the published deadlines making sure that the our published decision date for that particular round of the assessment is at least a minimum of three clear calendar months before the event takes place to allow for the marketing and promotion timetable process.

• Applications will still need to meet the published guidelines for applicants on our website.
