So begins that lovely time of year for the Digital Shorts - festival season!
Congratulations to Chris Dundon, writer and director of Bro which is in competition at The Beverly Hills Film Festival, The Singapore International Film Festival, The Seattle International Film Festival and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. A win at one of these festivals could qualify us to enter the Academy Awards so fingers crossed!
Also congratulations to Andrew Brand, writer and director of Things We Leave Behind - in competition at The Hull International Short Film Festival and The East End Film Festival.

All of the Digital Shorts slate 2009/10 will be in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival in May, with Screen East having a presence at the festival.
